6 found guilty in Circuit Court

In Warren County Circuit Court for the week ending Friday:
• Jimmy B. Cogan II, 33, 135 Hennington Road, pleaded guilty to possession of methampehtamine and was found guilty of violating probation from a 2011 conviction for manufacture of methamphetamine and was sentenced by Ninth Circuit Judge M. James Chaney to eight years in prison followed by four years’ probation, a $1,000 fine and $684.50 in costs. Cogan pleaded to a criminal information dated Oct. 19.
• Jon Daniel Gross, 22, 1203 Lamar Ave., Yazoo City, pleaded guilty to robbery and was sentenced by Chaney to five years in prison followed by five years’ probation, a $4,000 fine and $384.520 in cost. Gross was indicted in July.
• Lashonda Faye Sims, 26, 1001 First East St., Apt. B, pleaded guilty to embezzlement and was sentenced by Chaney to two years of house arrest followed by three years’ probation, a $1,000 fine $513.50 restitution and $386.50 in cost. Sims pleaded to a criminal information dated Oct. 11.
• Milton Weeks, 48, 110 Melissa Drive, pleaded guilty to possession of precursor chemicals and was sentenced by Chaney to one year and one day in prison followed by five years’ probation, a $3,700 fine and $684.50 in costs.
• Billy Westbrook, 23, 45 Hometown Road, was found guilty of violating terms of a 2010 sentence to Ninth Circuit Drug Court for possession of precursor chemicals and sentenced by Chaney to four years in prison followed by three years’ probation. Westbrook was arrested May 24, 2010.
• Owen Willoughby, 75, 425 Perry Circle, pleaded guilty to weapon possession after felony conviction and was sentenced by Chaney to 90 days, which Willoughby already served, followed by three years’ probation and $384.50 in costs.
