Edna Earl Parish Ray

Edna Earl Parish Ray of Bovina died Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at her home. She was 73.
Mrs. Ray was born in Louise and she was a member of Bethlehem M.B Church in Bovina.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at Bethlehem M.B. Church, with Pastor Daniel Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Ray; two sons, Richard Earl Ray and Patrick Randolph Ray; her parents, Clemon Sr. and Eddie Mae Parish; four brothers, James T. Parish, Willie B. Parish, Herman B. Parish, and Clemon Parish Jr.; and two sisters, Essie Lee Clark and Ella Dean Gowdy.
Survivors include her companion, J.D. Session of Vicksburg; three sons, James Ray of Holly Bluff, Kenneth Ray of Vicksburg, and John Alex Ray of McComb; four daughters, Virginia Woolfolk of Yazoo City, Melissa Ray of Pearl, Amy Luster and Jennifer Ray, both of Vicksburg; two sisters, Elnora McDougal of Jackson and Earlean Parish of Chicago; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Fred Moore, Chad Jackson, Alvin Erves, Greg Erves, Jamal Woolfolk, and Kenyata Ray.
