Nowell, Robb are wed at St. Alban’s Episcopal

Donald Lester Nowell and Nasus Ann Robb were married at 6 p.m. Aug. 18, 2012, at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. The Very Rev. Billie Abraham officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ann Hand and the late R. Charles Robb III of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Sturges of Jackson and the late Robert and Melba Robb of Vicksburg.

The groom is the son of the late Wayne and Peggy Nowell of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Donald and Katie Ashley of Vicksburg and Eunice Nowell and the late Hubert Nowell of Natchez.

Given in marriage by her mother, the bride’s chosen colors were Malibu blue and white.

A special reading was presented by the Rev. Deacon Josie Williams. Nuptial music was presented by Joan Henderson Leese of Vicksburg.

Matron of honor was the mother of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kayla Hinson of Vicksburg and Brittney Herman of Clinton.

Prentiss Harveston of Natchez served as best man. Groomsmen were Richard Robb, brother of the bride, of Madison and Charlie Burchfield of Vicksburg.

A reception followed at the Vicksburg Country Club. Guests were entertained with music by DJ 51-50.

For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. They will make their home in Vicksburg.

Luncheon

Ellen Robb, the bride’s sister-in-law, hosted a bridal luncheon at Anchuca the day before the wedding. Special guests were Ellen Robb, Rose Mary Patton, Ann Hand, Odette Bragg, Janie Mullen, Kayla Hinson and Brittney Herman.

Shower

The bride was honored with a miscellaneous shower hosted by Ellen Robb, Dianne Stefanick, Kayla Hinson and Brittney Herman at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hand.
