(NAPSI)—An estimated 10,000 baby boomers are retiring every day. Many are looking to volunteer at organizations that can benefit from their work experiences and expertise. Perhaps surprisingly, that’s not always easy.

“One out of three recent retirees leave their volunteer posts within months because organizations are not properly prepared to utilize the volunteers’ professional experiences and knowledge,” a recent study released by the Corporation for National and Community Service revealed.

Fortunately, there’s a new website that can help organizations tap into the professional expertise that recent retirees can offer.
