William Earl Barlow

ROLLING FORK — William Earl Barlow died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. He was 64.

Mr. Barlow was a Sharkey County native and had lived in Richey, near Rolling Fork, most of his life. He served in the Army as a specialist 4th class from 1970 until 1973. He was a factory worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Mildred C. Barlow.

Survivors include three brothers, Clyde Barlow of Rolling Fork, Raymond Smith Sr. of Glen Allan and Robert Barlow Jr. of Fresno, Calif.; and three sisters, Mildred Pierce of Union, Ruth Williams of Rolling Fork and Marie B. Peeples of Anguilla.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Delta City Baptist Church in Delta City with the Rev. Nick Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Straight Bayou Church Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Ray Smith, Steve Blanton, Michael Ashley, Dewey Cooper, Danny Cooper and Steve Thomason.
