Don and Bo Whittenberg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 21, 2012. They were married at Woodlawn Baptist Church of Vicksburg.

Don is retired from Mutual Credit Union, and Bo is retired from the Vicksburg Warren School District. They have one daughter, Susan Whittenberg of Vicksburg.

The Whittenbergs marked their anniversary on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where they honeymooned in 1962.
