When she decided to take up running, Lisa Tillotson did it with the goal of attempting a marathon. Once that was set, she really went for the gusto.

The Vicksburg resident will run alongside nearly 30,000 other people — among them her friend and co-worker Angie Standish — Sunday morning in the New York City Marathon.
