Brigade commander at 412th honored

Brig. Gen. James T. Williams, commander of 302nd Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, 412th Theater Engineer Command, has received the Legion of Merit for his work as deputy commander of operations for the 80th Training Command in North Chesterfield, Va., from May 2011 to April 2012.

The award was presented in a brief ceremony at the George A. Morris Army Reserve Center in Vicksburg.

The 80th Training Command oversees basic and specialized training programs for soldiers in the Army Reserve. Williams is a resident of Monroe County, Ga.
