VALLEY PARK — Gerald C. Prince died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at River Region Medical Center. He was 71.

Mr. Prince was born in Carroll’s Corner, Ark., and moved to Valley Park in 1956 where he farmed with his father. He was a member of Valley Park Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ruth Prince.

Survivors include two brothers, James Prince of Vicksburg and J.W. Prince of Little Rock, Miss.; one sister, Kathy Porter of Valley Park; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Purser officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Porter, Mike Bland, Robbie Prince, John Prince, Bob McDuff and Dennis Childress.
