Services for Mardy Eugene Blackmore will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christian Home M.B. Church No. 2. Burial will follow at Wright Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 until 6 p.m. Friday at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.

Mr. Blackmore died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, as the result of a gunshot wound. He was 28.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Blackmore; and his maternal grandmother, Alice Blackmore Williams.

He is survived by two sons, Mardy E. Blackmore Jr. of Kosciusko and Kenneth Michael Blackmore of Vicksburg; his father, Martin Trollinger of Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers, Antonio Blackmore and Kevin Blackmore, both of Vicksburg, and Marvin Black of Cincinnati; six sisters, Antoinette Blackmore, Robbin Blackmore and Tamara Robertson, all of Vicksburg, and Kathy Black, Keisha Walker and Tiffany Black, all of Cincinnati; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, including Edward Lee Gaskin and Jennifer Cain, both of Vicksburg.
