“Trials of the Earth,” Mary Mann Hamilton’s memoir about the first white female settlers in the Mississippi Delta, will be featured at an event at Peterson’s Arts & Antiques, 1400 S. Washington St., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 23 and at Lorelei Books, 1103 S. Washington St., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 24. The 20th Anniversary republication of Hamilton’s memoir will be available at both locations and heirs of Hamilton will discuss the book.
