A book signing has been scheduled for local author Jeff T. Giambrone for Dec. 15 at the Vicksburg National Military Park, 3201 Clay St.

Giambrone’s book, “Remembering Mississippi’s Confederates,” contains more than 200 vintage images and tributes to the men who fought for their state.

The cost of the book is $21.99 and is available at area bookstores, independent retailers and online at www.arcadiapublishing.com.

Giambrone is a historian for the Communication arts Company, in Jackson. He is the author of “Beneath Torn and Tattered Flags,” “A Regimental History of the 38th Mississippi Infantry, C.S.A.,” and “An Illustrated Guide to the Vicksburg Campaign and National Military Park.”
