Cassandra Bunch Moore

TAMPA, Fla. — Cassandra Bunch Moore died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at her home. She was 51.

A native of Vicksburg, she was a resident of Tampa, Fla., for 19 years. She was a 1979 graduate of Vicksburg High School, where she was Student Council president, cheerleader and homecoming queen. She attended Hinds Community College and Mississippi State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Delta State University.

She was a former member of New Mount Zion Baptist Church of Vicksburg and attended Bible-Based Fellowship Church in Tampa, where she was a member of the Children’s Church Ministry and served as Village Council president.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roosevelt Bunch.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Moore; three sons, Christian Allen Moore, Jonathan Aaron Moore and Joshua Alexander Moore, all of Tampa; her mother, Velma Christian Bunch of Vicksburg; a brother, Darrell Bunch of Houston, Texas; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including Paula Taylor and Yolanda Dent.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Heroden M.B. Church in Vicksburg with the Rev. L.A. Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel.
