Services for Ida Mae Jefferson will be at noon Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest Johnson Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. Jefferson died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at Covenant Health and Rehab of Vicksburg. She was 56.

Ms. Jefferson was born in Edwards and attended school in Edwards and Utica. She was employed at Batesville Casket Co. for 21 years. She was a member of Greater Grove Street M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Mary Jefferson; three brothers, Eddie Phillips, Willie Earl Johnson Jr. and Willie James Jefferson.

Survivors include her three children, James Jefferson Sr., Lacheryl Jones and Travis Jefferson Sr., all of Vicksburg; five brothers, Walter Barber of Bolton, Charles Jefferson, Clarence Jefferson and Fredrick Jefferson, all of Edwards, and Glenn Jefferson of Minneapolis; 13 sisters, Rose Mary McCoy, Edna Alexander, Sylvia Moore, Annie Williams, Diane Lodge and Carolyn Webster, all of Edwards, Lee Shields, Della Jefferson and Rebecca Jones, all of Vicksburg, Alberta Barber and Willie M. Barber, both of Bolton, and Mary I. Jefferson and Corine Peoples, both of Bryant, Texas; nine grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
