Robert Neese Jr.

PHILADELPHIA, Miss. — Robert Neese Jr. died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at his home in Philadelphia. He was 41.

A native and longtime resident of Neshoba County, Mr. Neese was a truck driver for B&G Wood Products. He was serving as fire chief for Hope Fire Department, was a rescue diver and a member of Southeast Regional Response Team. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Neese was preceded in death by his parents, Robert S. Neese Sr. and Druesillar Rogers Neese; a sister, Chessie Neese Stovall; his maternal grandparents, Dave and Lena Mae Sims; and his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Ellie Jane Neese.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Anderson Neese of Philadelphia; three daughters, Tiffany Neese Vaughn, Brittany Neese and Robin Neese, all of Philadelphia; six sisters, Jodie Neese Skinner of Union and Vicksburg, Clara Neese Moore of Edinburg and Linda Rogers Bryan, Virginia Rogers Drake, Charlotte Neese Thompson and Carol Neese Kilpatrick, all of Philadelphia; and two brothers, John David Rogers of Philadelphia and Robert Skelton Neese of Oxford.

Services will be at 2 today at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel in Philadelphia. Burial will follow at Fellowship Cemetery in Neshoba County.
