Cannon Thomas Lampkin

Cannon Thomas Lampkin of Vicksburg died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, as the result of an automobile accident. He was 16.

Cannon, who had lived his entire life in Vicksburg, was a student at Warren Central High School, where he was a manager for the football and baseball teams. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Thomas Lampkin; and his maternal grandfather, Larry Cannon.

Cannon is survived by his parents, Timmy and Lori Cannon Lampkin; one brother, Taylor Lampkin; one sister, Cassidy Lampkin; his paternal grandmother, Emma Lou Lampkin; and his maternal grandmother, Becky Cannon, all of Vicksburg.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Burch officiating.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service Monday at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Warren Central baseball and football teams.
