The Rev. James and Lucile Wilson Sheard celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Vicksburg with their children and grandchildren. They were married Nov. 9, 1962, in downtown Vicksburg by the Rev. Dan Gardner. They are the parents of Angela Sheard Williams and her husband, Willis Williams, and have three grandsons: Trellis, King and Sun Michael.
