Lois Voyles McCluskey

HORN LAKE — Lois Voyles McCluskey, a former Vicksburg resident, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Landmark of Desoto Nursing Home in Horn Lake. She was 91.
Mrs. McCluskey was born Feb. 9, 1921, in Burnsville, Miss. She was a member of New Life Assembly of God and retired from Westinghouse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Newton and Ethel Morgan Voyles; her husband, Hoyit T. McCluskey; two sons, Ernest L. McCluskey and Jimmy H. McCluskey; three sisters, Zelma McCluskey, Lorene Voyles and Christine Voyles; and four brothers, G.B. Voyles, Gobern Voyles, Alfred Voyles and Ezra Voyles.
Survivors include a son, James McCluskey of Senatobia; one brother, Olin Voyles of Booneville; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a number of great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley with Carl McClain officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Tuesday until the service.
Pallbearers will be Herschel McCluskey, Billy McCluskey, Jerry McCluskey, D.L. Gray, Bobby Voyles and Ronnie Oliver.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sonny McCluskey, Danny McCluskey, Bud McCluskey, Kevin Avant, Randy McCluskey, Scotty McCluskey, Steve McCluskey and Ronald McCluskey.
