Bud Light Scramble at Clear Creek
The Bud Light 2-Man Scramble will be held Saturday and Sunday at Clear Creek Golf Course in Bovina. The entry fee is $250 per team, and includes mulligans, green fee, cart fees, lunch, a practice round and drinks. One long drive and four closest to the hole prizes will be awarded each day, with a minimum value of $500. Prizes will also be awarded for first through fourth place in each of six flights, bases on a 72-team field.

Ammons offering basketball lessons

Summer tennis at Halls Ferry
The City of Vicksburg’s summer youth tennis program is now under way at Halls Ferry Park. The program will run Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to noon, and on Thursdays from 5 to 6 p.m. Individual matches will be played from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., followed by junior team tennis from 10 a.m. to noon. Mississippi Braves charity golf tourney
The Mississippi Braves Charity Golf Tournament will be held July 9 at Patrick Farms Golf Club in Brandon. The tournament is a four-man and one celebrity scramble. Sign-in is at 11:30 a.m., and the tournament begins at 1 p.m.
Entry fees range from $350 to $750 per four-man team, depending on the level of sponsorship.

Southern Miss football camp
The Southern Miss Football Camp will be held Thursday. The camp is open to all students in grades 9-12. Registration will begin at 1 p.m. at the Duff Athletic Center, and the cost of the camp is $40.
