Agape Montessori is observing Constitution week

Thanks to the Vicksburg Board of Mayor and Alderman and the Hinds county Gazette, of Raymond, Miss. for reminding us of public law 915. This law guarantees the issuing of a proclamation each year by the president of the United States of America designating Sept. 17 through 23 as constitution week. Our government class, at Agape Montessori Christian Academy thinks that or constitution is a magnificent document worthy to be studied and celebrated by all Americans.
The founders and framers of this document were learned and gifted.
They were willing to study, observe, explore, and consider all forms of government they could choose from. Autocracy, dictatorship, or totalitarianism were forms of government the founders were familiar with, and did not want to subject their newly independent country with such. Therefore they agreed that the United States of America should be governed by the higher law of a written constitution.
The U.S constitution, the cornerstone of our freedoms, was written to protect every American from the abuse of power by government? Government was established to serve and protect the people. We must be vigilant of our freedom and our rights.
Our Omnipotent founded our world and our lives to give us plans for our future; thus we obtain his wisdom and live through Christ and the rights despite the things we fear. Two centuries, one score, and seven years ago, our valuable constitution was born by our founding fathers after the bloody war that was fought for our liberty. Therefore, we shall live long and prosper through Christ to have equity for eternity and our duty to secure our living constitution within the United States of America.
