NEW ORLEANS — John Henry Dillon Jr. died Friday, Feb. 20, 2015.

He lived in Vicksburg for 35 years.

Mr. Dillon is preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Smith; father, John Henry Dillon Sr.; and stepfather, Albert Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Katie Dillon; a companion; eight daughters and 12 sons; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services are 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at DW Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave.

Burial will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2015, at the Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, La.
