Items missing from vehicle

Purse and perfume were missing Monday following a burglary reported Friday in Vicksburg.
At 4:30 p.m. Friday, a $300 Ralph Lauren satchel, $65 wristlet and $60 perfume were reported stolen from a 1998 Honda Accord on the 2000 block of Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.
One injured in parking lot
At 1 a.m. Friday officers received a call about a dispute at WalMart among a group of people where a female was ran over with a vehicle as someone attempted to leave, Williams said.
The woman was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center with broken bones, Williams said. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made, Williams said.
She said investigators would continue to talk to witnesses and review video that could lead to charges.
One charged with assault
A Vicksburg woman accused of hitting a pedestrian with a vehicle after a verbal altercation was held without bail Monday.
Tiffany Bells, 36, was arrested Sunday and charged with aggravated assault, Williams said.
At 3 p.m. Sunday in the area of Military Avenue and Franklin Street officers received a call about a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. The victim was treated and released at Merit Health River Region Medical Center, Williams said.
One held for burglary
A Vicksburg woman accused of stealing from a vehicle was held without bail Monday.
Tina Brown, 37, 2534 Oak St., was arrested Friday and charged with auto burglary, according to jail records.
One held for forgery
A Port Gibson woman accused of using a forged document was held without bail Monday.
Lashawn Montgomery, 38, 1004 Rally Thomas Circle, was arrested Friday and charged with three counts of uttering a forgery, according to Warren County jail records.
One released back to MDOC
A Vicksburg woman was released back to the Mississippi Department of Corrections Monday.
Buffie Findley, 41, 203 Spring Ridge Drive, was held in the Warren County jail Friday on a warrant from MDOC for parole violation, according to Warren County jail records.
One released to drug court
A Warren County man was released to drug court Monday.
Dustin Forbes, 32, 5050 Warriors Trail, was held in the Warren County Jail Saturday for a 24-hour drug court sanction, according to Warren County jail records.
Missing vehicle recovered
A vehicle missing from Warren County since December was recovered over the weekend.
Warren County Detectives Sam Winchester and Mike Traxler worked with the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office to recover a 1975 Chrysler New Yorker that had been missing from the 5500 block of Nailor Road since Decemner, Sheriff Martin Pace said. The vehicle was recovered on Buck Reed Road near Edwards over the weekend, Pace said.
No arrests have been made at this time. The two sheriff’s offices are working together to investigate, Pace said.
