Frank Kappler Sr. and Jean Kappler of Vicksburg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary May 7.

The couple was married May 5, 1966.

Mr. Kappler is a retired police officer, and Mrs. Kappler is a housewife.

The couple have three children John Kappler (Charlotte), Frank Kappler Jr. and Bertha(BJ) Kappler-Tate, seven grandchildren Mary Sanderson, Joshua Pugh (Kayla), Korey Pugh (Kelcy), Tabitha Grantham (Andrew), Stephanie Tate, Rebacca Tate, Stephen Tate Jr. (Tessa) and eight great grandchildren, Matthew Sanderson, Makenna Sanderson, Brendan Pugh, Brantley Pugh, Brooklynn Grantham, Kirsten Tate, Lane Rymer , Keaton Pugh.

The anniversary celebration will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. at 1370 Nine Mile Cutoff Road on May 7. All friends and family are invited to attend.
