Successful Inaugural River Revelers’ Masked Ball

To the editor:
Vicksburg Main Street Program is truly appreciative to all those that attended the Inaugural River Revelers’ Masked Ball. We hope everyone had a great evening!
This event was an outstanding success and had more than 250 ticket sales! In honor of American Heart Month a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association. All other money raised will go towards improvements and beautification of downtown Vicksburg.
We would like to extend a special thank you to all who helped make this ball a success: Committee members- Joyce Clingan, Annette Kirklin, Walter Osborne, Rebecca Sigh and Kim Hopkins.
We would also like to thank all others that helped: Vicksburg Convention Center Team, Palmertree Catering, Mayor George Flaggs Jr, Vicksburg Senior Center, Daisy Williams, Jennifer Harper, Kay King, Daryl Hollingsworth, Rachael Walker, Diane Hughes and team, Kimble Bufkin, Billy Gordon, Levee Street Marketplace, You Choose Consignment Shop, Harry Sharp, David Sharp, James and Victor from Walnut Hills, Cathy Walters, the Southard’s Team, and the City of Vicksburg Building Maintenance Department.

We are grateful for all that participated and hope that you all enjoyed being a candidate!

This event was an outstanding success due to great teamwork and from the support of our community.
