SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Federal authorities say a Mississippi man wanted in the death of his wife has been arrested at a popular getaway spot along the Utah-Idaho state line.

The U.S. Marshals Service says 61-year-old Charles Eugene Bowman was taken into custody Thursday at a campground near Bear Lake after more than two weeks on the run.

Bowman disappeared from Mississippi’s Pearl River County in late June, before sheriff’s deputies got a search warrant for his home and found the remains of 61-year-old Kathleen Bowman. She was last seen by relatives on Mother’s Day.
