Driver’s planning to renew or acquire a Mississippi driver’s license won’t be able to do so Wednesday in Vicksburg.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol office in Vicksburg, along with 10 other MHP driver service offices in the central region of the state, will be closed Wednesday.

According to a press release from MHP, the reason for the closure is to allow for employee training to learn about updates to the driver’s license system.
