Warren County sheriff’s deputies are looking for two men who were involved in an argument in which a man was shot early Friday morning.

Sheriff Martin Pace said the shooting occurred about 1 a.m. Friday at a home in the 7800 block of Halls Ferry Road. The victim and two other people were in the home when the two men entered the home and an argument followed in which the victim was shot at least twice. The men left the house after the shooting.

Pace said the wounded man was taken to a Jackson hospital where he was being treated for what was believed to be non life-threatening injuries. He said the incident was not a home invasion, adding the people involved knew each other. The case remains under investigation.
