City of Vicksburg have located the site of a water line leak along South Frontage Road that led to low water pressure — or no water pressure — for residents and businesses in the area.

Thursday morning, officials worked to locate the valves surrounding the leak in order to isolate it later to make the repair.

According to Dane Lovell, superintendent of the city’s water and gas department, the valves have been located and the repair has been scheduled for Friday morning. The plan is to make the repair before 8 a.m., and that there would be no interruption to service to customers in that area.
