Regardless if you were heading north or south on U.S. Highway 61 North Saturday, the line was long, real long as hundreds of area residents took part in the annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day.
According to Warren County environmental officer Katie Martin, 862 cars passed through the collection site Saturday set up in the parking lot at Sherman Avenue Elementary School.
Martin said 1,250 gallons of used oil, 328 used tires and four truckloads of old computers were collected during the event.
