Watch: Glenwood Circle holds annual Fourth of July bike parade

Published 12:59 pm Saturday, July 4, 2020

More than 40 children took part Saturday in the annual Glenwood Circle neighborhood’s Fourth of July bike parade.

Children on bikes and scooters pulled behind their parents in wagons, and even a few pushed in strollers, took part in the holiday tradition that, up until last year, had been on a bit of a hiatus.

But, with new families moving in — complete with plenty of children — the traditional bike parade was restarted in 2019.

The event not only included the bike parade, but also plenty of watermelon, treats and an egg toss.
