Mayor George Flaggs Jr. has announced a press conference for Tuesday evening to discuss the city’s ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic and a decision by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen on Vicksburg Fire Chief Craig Danczyk that has yet to be announced.

That decision is expected to be part of the board’s meeting Monday morning.

The press conference will be carried live on The Vicksburg Post’s Facebook page beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
