Emergency units are responding to 18-wheeler accident on Highway 3

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office and emergency medical units are responding to an accident on Highway 3.

Early reports are that an 18-wheeler has overturned, taking with it power lines and power poles. The road is also reportedly completely blocked.

The driver of the truck is still in the vehicle and Entergy is reportedly en route to disconnect power to the high-voltage lines that remain on and around the truck.

The Vicksburg Post has a reporter on the way to the scene and will update the story shortly.
