Also, a Gofundme has been set up to help the Andrews family. As of Thursday, more than $4,000 had been donated toward an initial goal of $5,000.

Kealan was a first-grade student at Beechwood Elementary School.

School officials announced Thursday, that in memory of Kealan, the school will hold a $5 free dress week beginning Monday. All proceeds will be donated to Kealan’s family.

“The Beechwood family is deeply saddened by the loss of our student,” the school posted on Facebook. “We will miss Kealan’s smile and how he brightened up a room. He was known for always wearing cowboy boots. He was a proud Beechwood Bobcat and he will be missed dearly by his teachers, classmates and school staff. We ask for your thoughts and prayers for his family as they navigate this most difficult time.”
