Vicksburg High defensive lineman Demarcus Johnson was named the Region 2-6A Defensive MVP. He had 100 tackles and seven sacks this season.

Johnson has also been selected to play in the Mississippi Association of Coaches Bernard Blackwell All-Star Game on Saturday, Dec. 9, in Gulfport.
