Alderman Michael Mayfield Sr. passed away Monday, March 11, at Merit Health River Region.

Funeral services celebrating his life and legacy will be held at noon Sunday, March 17, at Ardis T. Williams Sr. Auditorium with the Rev. A. J. Williams officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home Saturday, March 16, from 2 until 6 p.m. with the family present from 5 until 6 p.m. and on Sunday at the auditorium from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.
