Wreck backs up I-20 westbound traffic

A mid-day accident on the Mississippi River bridge has caused westbound traffic delays on Interstate 20. Traffic is reportedly backed up for several miles.

There have been reports of subsequent wrecks as a result of traffic congestion.

Motorists should expect delays and are advised to find an alternate route.
