The Yokena-Jeff Davis Water District remains under a boil water notice, water district supervisor Wayne Muirhead said.

Although the city of Vicksburg, which sells water to Yokena-Jeff Davis,  has lifted the boil water notice issued Tuesday for the city and Yokena, the water district must get the water in its lines tested Muirhead said. He said samples have been sent to the Mississippi Department of Health, but the results have not been received.
