Suspect sought in theft from Kay Jewelers

- The Vicksburg Police Department is seeking help identifying this person, who is a suspect in the theft of jewelry on Nov. 5 from Kay Jewelers at the Outlets at Vicksburg.
Vicksburg Police seek your help in identifying a suspect who is thought to have stolen jewelry worth $9,900 on Nov. 5 from Kay Jewelers, located at the Outlets at Vicksburg, 4000 S. Frontage Road, No. 109.
VPD Capt. Sandra Williams wrote in a press release issued Monday afternoon that the man entered the Kay Jewelry store at about 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, and stole a diamond ring and a necklace.
Williams said the man requested to look at the jewelry, telling the salesperson he was interested in purchasing jewelry for his wife. The suspect apparently identified himself at “Ray.”
Williams said the man took the jewelry and ran from the store without paying.
