Jenkins became the subject of a search that began Monday afternoon after he was reported missing from the nursing home.

Police Chief Milton Moore said Jenkins, who has dementia, walked out of the door of the nursing home late Monday morning. Police and Warren County first responders searched the wooded area behind the nursing home, the Porters Chapel/Indiana Avenue area, and the areas along North and South Frontage roads before finding Jenkins.
