Culkin issues boil water notice

The Culkin Water District has issued a boil water notice affecting about 18 customers who get their drinking water from 6790 to 7468 U.S. 80 because of a broken water line.

Customers should vigorously boil their drinking and cooking water for two minutes before using or find an alternative source of water.

The district has lifted a boil water notice that was in effect for about 40 customers in the area of from 1225 to 2683 Tiffentown Road, Windham Drive and Brabston Drive.
