Man dies in Mississippi 465 wreck

A Vicksburg man died Sunday night in a one-car wreck on Mississippi 465, according to information from the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

At approximately 7:25 p.m. Sunday, a submerged vehicle was located in Issaquena County north of Redwood. Trooper Kervin Stewart said Mason B. Cummings, 20, was killed when the 2012 Honda Accord he was driving left the highway and went into water off the southbound shoulder of the road and submerged.

Divers with the Vicksburg Fire Department Dive Team were called and located the car, which was recovered. Cummings was found dead in the car.
