Water service on East Clay Street to be cut off Thursday night

Published 3:35 pm Thursday, October 11, 2018

Water service to the East Clay Street area will be cut off for about four hours beginning at 10:30 p.m. Thursday so utility workers can re-connect recently moved waterlines along South Frontage Road.

Vicksburg public works director Garnet Van Norman said the connections are part of the city’s project to relocate underground utility lines on South Frontage Road as part of the project to link the east and west ends of the road.
