St. Aloysius football player Damien Reeves won the Virgadamo Award at the school’s fall athletic awards banquet on Wednesday.

The award is considered St. Al’s top athletic honor. It is named for Anthony Virgadamo, a 1948 St. Al graduate who died in the Korean War in December 1950. Since 1951 it has been given annually to a football player who showcases excellent athletic and leadership skills on and off the field.
