According to police reports, Green and Campbell had been dating and recently ended the relationship. When Campbell returned home from work Saturday night, she found Green at her home and an argument began that resulted in Green shooting her.

Officers responding about 10:05 p.m. Saturday to a call that someone had been shot in the 100 block of Elizabeth Circle arrived to find Campbell lying in the front yard of 158 Elizabeth Circle.

Saturday’s shooting was the third murder in Vicksburg in 2018.
